Monthly Report
Gentlemen:
Here is the monthly report of the Army of the Potomac, for the month of March, 2010.
The AotP had a good month on tha battlefield in March, completing 20 battles against the rebels, with 8 victories against 5 defeats
while having 6 drawn battles. For the year to date the AotP now has 21 victories and 19 defeats in 56 battles and is currently
engaged in some 49 battles.
Roster changes
No officers were added to the Active list while 15 were removed from the Hospital and either Discharged or Retired and
the AotP now has 38 active officers.
March Muster Results
Unfortunately the good news on the battlefield was not reflected in the muster reports. For this month only 15 of those 38
officers reported for muster giving a muster rate of only 39%.

Maj. Gen. Groce promoted to Lt. Gen
Lt. Tim Delaney to Captain
Medals and awards
Brig.Gen. Sandy O'Neil had a 1st Quarter record of 3 victories and 1 draw and was awarded Battlefield Ribbons for Chancellorsville
and Gettysburg for his Major Victories on those fields and will be awarded the Sheridan Combat Medal
Lt.Gen.Dwight McBride with 10 completed battles in the 1st Quarter will receive the Combat Badge
Lt.Gen. David Groce with 7 completed battles this quarter and
Col Robert Schroeder with 5 completed battles will also receive the Combat Badge.
Brig. Gen. Sandy O'Neil will receive a Gettysburg Ribbon (RIB-BTL_GTY.gif) for his Major Victory on that field
Lt.Col Steve Beno will receive the Murfreesboro Ribbon (RIB-BTL_MRF.gif) for his Major Victory there.

Commander's Corner
Rosie's Bar at the acwgc.org site, was not being used by AotP members so rather than leave it empty I elected to close it down.
I am still waiting for more information on Gen. Laubs proposal to combine the AotP & AoS Sharpshooter Award before proceeding with
any action regarding the AotP version.
I am afraid I have been quite busy with personal matters this past month and have not accomplished much with regards to the AotP.
Hopefully things will settle down soon and I will be able to continue my work on the webpages, cleaning up old awards and preparing
for future efforts to revitalize the AotP.
